Brentwood Consulting Company provides property tax consulting for Texas property owners. Based in Dallas and founded by licensed Senior Property Tax Consultant Ricky Andro, Brentwood offers personal attention, clear guidance, and a practical approach to property tax matters.
Property taxes can be complicated. Understanding your property’s valuation, available exemptions, and important deadlines can help you make informed decisions. Brentwood helps you understand your options and determine the next steps for your situation.
I’m Ricky Andro, founder of Brentwood Consulting Company and a licensed Senior Property Tax Consultant since 2019. Based in Dallas, I help Texas property owners understand their options and navigate property taxes with confidence.
I believe good consulting starts with listening, asking the right questions, and doing the research. My approach combines careful attention to detail with practical advice and clear communication, so you understand both the next step and the reasoning behind it.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and our four children, coaching youth sports, and getting away to our family ranch. We’re also involved in our local Catholic school, where my wife and I established a scholarship to help families through financial hardship.
You should always know where things stand with your property taxes. From our first conversation to the outcome of your protest, Brentwood stays in touch through calls, emails, texts, and timely updates. We take the time to answer your questions, explain the next steps, and represent you in person when it’s time to make your case. You have someone you can reach and count on throughout the process.
Why should I protest my property taxes?
Your property's appraised value plays an important role in determining your property taxes. If that value is higher than warranted, a successful protest may help reduce your tax burden.
What does Brentwood Consulting Company do?
We review your property's valuation, evaluate whether a protest is appropriate, and represent you through the appraisal district's administrative protest process. Our goal is to pursue a fair valuation while making the process as straightforward as possible for you.
How much does Brentwood charge?
Our fee is 25% of the actual property tax savings resulting from a successful valuation protest. There are no upfront fees or minimum charges. If our work doesn't reduce your property taxes, you owe no contingency fee.
Can my property's value decrease without lowering my taxes?
Yes. Exemptions, appraisal caps, and other factors can affect your taxable value. A reduction in appraised value doesn't always translate into lower taxes. Our fee is based on actual tax savings, not simply a reduction in property value.
Do I need to sign up every year?
No. Our service agreement renews automatically each year, so you don't have to repeat the enrollment process. We'll provide an annual reminder, and you may cancel in writing at any time under the terms of your agreement.
Are tax savings guaranteed?
No. Property valuations and protest outcomes depend on the circumstances of each property and the appraisal district's review. We use our professional judgment to determine when a protest is appropriate, but no particular reduction or tax savings can be guaranteed.
